AL-SALAM International For Development & Agriculture Investment was established in 1980, and that was the beginning of agriculture field by establishing a group of nurseries for the production of various fruits seedlings and ornamental trees in Al-Salam village Sharqia Governorate.

In a few years, the company has developed its capacity to produce fruit seedlings through the establishment of the first and largest laboratory for the cultivation of tissue for the purpose of maximizing and producing strong, high-productivity seedlings free of diseases especially Viral diseases.

The company also contributed to the expansion of olive production through its distinctive production of olive seedlings and especially foreign species by using the latest technical methods used in the propagation of olive seedlings to reach more than half a million seedlings.

In order to develop the company’s strategy to support agricultural development in Egypt, Al-Salam International for Development and Agricultural Investment has expanded its activity to include the provision of agrochemicals and agricultural supplies as of 2010.

This was achieved by establishing a headquarter in Sadat City and opening an office for the company in Germany.
As a result of the company’s effort to provide the best agrochemicals from fertilizers, pesticides and growth regulators, the company has been able to make contracts with international and European companies and was able to obtain exclusive agencies for many products.

The company aims to support agricultural production helping the agricultural crops to reach global standard levels in terms of quality, productivity and crop protection pesticides, as well as preserving the fertility of soil and the various components of the environment in order to achieve sustainable development of agriculture and environmental protection.
